About Me
In 2005, my NHS career commenced when I qualified as an adult gynaecology nurse. I then decided to convert over into the world of midwifery a year later and qualified in 2008.
In 18 years of practicing as a midwife, I can honestly say that my desire and passion to help and support new parents has only flourished. I have previously practiced as a tongue-tie specialist midwife working in the NHS for 8 years, before considering to offer this service as I do now privately. I thoroughly enjoy this role and wanted to further develop my knowledge and skills in infant feeding which was when I decided to undertake the IBCLC course.

This is the second pregnancy I've called upon Anna for help! The first pregnancy my son was badly tongue tied and struggled with feeding due to also being born premature and jaundice, so Anna did his tongue tie Division and... read more helped me with latching and feeding positions. Im yet to have baby no.2 but have finally now reached 37 weeks so called upon Anna again to help give me a refresher antenatally and seek advice and guidance on colostrum harvesting which im now able to do myself! Anna is super friendly and consultations are always really relaxed, you feel like you're just having a chat to a friend... Just a very knowledgeable and passionate one! Im definitely going to have Anna visit me again postnatally to ensure I dont run into any avoidable feeding problems, check early on for tongue tie and ensure babies latch is good from the start!
